When she loses a childhood friend in an attack, she decides to make a political statement by organising a fashion show to fight everything the war wants to repress: freedom, women’s independence, and the prospect of a future. During her journey of personal resistance, Nedjma will discover that the celebration of life is often to be paid for in death.
