本片是香港电影里少有关于性启蒙的成长喜剧，导演拍出了一种富有青春气息的成长实感，十分亲切生动，又有怀旧感，不但刻画出十几岁的青少年在生理和情感上对异性的兴趣，还拍出了对男同学的友谊，和父母亲之间的亲情，相当地打动人心
故事略显单薄，逻辑有时掉链，影片里唯一的冲突只是Eliza的到来和与之相对的两个克隆人的性命，所以主题必定不会太宏大，情节也就没有很紧张
