生活不如意十之八九，当年放弃一切逃离家乡，最后却生活窘迫不得不抛弃面子面对曾经逃离的一切。一个出轨导致老婆自杀的混蛋渴望儿子的原谅，但直到他心脏病突发去世，也没有达成。两个一事无成的人，互相支持，到最后却还是一事无成。这就是生活吧。
作为2001的续集，并没有超越前作的亮点，尽管怀着好意去为2001作注解，但却无心破坏了2001令人们震撼的神秘印象
